Ana Capri

It’s a picturesque island just off the coast of Italy, housing sincere people with friendly smiles and welcoming attitudes. The view from the bluff at the top of the mountain-like island is priceless. Full of rich history and romantic villas, the atmosphere could be from a dream. Ana Capri is the epitome of grace and charm. Only accessible by ferry or boat, a trip to the island is one you shouldn’t go a lifetime without. It’s my favorite destination by far and I can’t wait to find my way back.

“Someone has to say it”

“We had a fight over myspace. She was mad because I wouldn’t add her and she just wont get over it. It’s just myspace.” “There’s this girl that’s on my boyfriends page that I really don’t like. She looks like a total slut. You know what we should do? We should start a random account and blacklist her.” “You know what I heard the other day? I heard that “so-and-so” told “so-and-so” that “whats-her-face” said that “Carissa” is cheating on “Matt” through facebook with some random guy she hardly even knows. We should tell “So-and-So” and “So-and-So” about this!” “Did you see that girls pictures on her myspace? What a prude!” “Oh my god, you have to read this message that “Becky” forwarded me.  It’s about this girl that’s stalking her boyfriend and is a total whore. It’s so entertaining!”

Now, you’d expect such conversation between middle school and high school kids, but no, my friend, all these things and more came from the mouths of adults (ranging from the ages of 18-27). It’s ridiculous the fuss people make over myspace and face book.  In my day, I’ve had my own riffs, but not since junior year of high school. The primary message I’m trying to convey, is that some people need to grow up. Drop the pettiness. Please. For my sanity. Grow up.  Myspace and facebook feuds are for tweens and teens. Don’t fall into step.

Hey Kids.

No, readers, I have not abandoned this website (hello, I paid for a full year! :] ) but I am very sick. My illness comes in waves. I’m comparatively alright when I’m drugged up, but when I am that way, I’m pretty much out. So either way, life kinda sucks at this point. I’m trying to think up new things to post, but don’t really have the strength to compose anything legit right now. So bear with my kids!
